VW Embedment Strain Gauge

The Vibrating Wire Embedment Strain Gauge holds critical importance in stress analysis of concrete structures widely used in the construction sector. These gauges are designed to be embedded directly into reinforced concrete structures to precisely measure stress values. Utilizing vibrating wire technology, they provide a reliable means of measuring the stress conditions of structures with high accuracy and security.

Comprising two main components—an industrial-grade temperature sensor and a measurement mechanism containing vibrating wire—these gauges operate by detecting changes in the resonance frequency of the sensor caused by stress or deformation within the concrete. Changes in these frequencies enable the sensor to conduct measurements. The industrial temperature sensor monitors environmental conditions and compensates for the effects of temperature changes on measurement outcomes.

Engineered to withstand harsh conditions, the gauge continues to operate reliably even when embedded within concrete structures. Manufactured using materials resistant to water, impact, and pressure, it ensures the durability and safety of structures for long-term monitoring and evaluation.

Data from the Vibrating Wire Embedment Strain Gauges can be accessed in real-time by connecting to remote monitoring systems or recorded and analyzed through automatic data collection stations. This capability allows for continuous monitoring and analysis of structures, enhancing their durability and safety over the long term
