Dilatometer / Pressuremeter

Dilatometers and pressurometers are important research and design tools used to determine the engineering properties of subsurface soil and to optimise subsurface design. They are used to determine the compressive behaviour, bearing capacity, elastic modulus, creep parameters and other mechanical properties of the soil. These data play an important role in the foundation design of structures and in the evaluation of the safety of underground structures.
