Linear Strain Gauges are widely used in various fields for both static and dynamic stress analysis. They provide highly precise measurements for applications such as structural health monitoring, determination of Young’s modulus, and transducer and sensor production. Due to their flexibility and compatibility with seven different temperature response matching types, they can be mounted on different materials. It is preferred that strain gauges have a foil coating suitable for the surface they will be applied to. With features such as coating, wiring, (nominal) resistance, and the length of the measurement grid that can be combined when necessary, they are available in many versions for a wide range of applications.
